- Day off of school (Good Friday off)
- Earth Day on Saturday (See a great post here)
- Commercial Trappings (Easter Bunny, Sugar, Easter Baskets, More Sugar, etc.)
- Church Services (make sure to wear something nice!)
- Spring Weather
But what is the big deal about Easter?
We don’t worship a dead savior.
We were enemies with God.
Jesus bought us forgiveness with his life.
But he is not dead. He is alive again!

What if there was no holiday? How about next weekend?
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
