Too busy

The First Christmas

In winter
The Word was made flesh
To dwell among us …
To gather in our scattered minds,
To unify all human hearts.

Celestial singing:
Shepherds heard, rejoiced, adored …
Spring possessed their lives.

A normal world:
“Busy” folks ignored the Babe …
Only quiet people knelt.

Deepest darkness slashed:
Leading kings to worship Him …
Light dissolves the dark.
